An IU employee called the IU Police Department to investigate flyers accusing a man of rape after he found the papers at Memorial Hall early Monday morning. Officers found about 30 flyers scattered and posted throughout the building, as well as more flyers near the Music Building, said IUPD Lt. Jerry Minger, quoting the police reports.\nThe black and white flyers featured a picture of an unknown man with text underneath the picture accusing him of being a rapist. The flyers suggested women should run from the man and encouraged men who came in contact with him to physically assault him, Minger said. The flyers didn't have a name, address or any identifying information about the man in the picture, Minger said.\nOfficers destroyed the flyers they collected.
