In the 2006 edition of U.S. News & World Report, there is a section titled "America's Best Graduate Schools." IU has several graduate programs ranked in the top 20 major programs across the nation. The University's education, psychology, sociology, history, business, law and medicine programs all received high honors. \nThe full report was released Monday, and the rankings will be posted on the magazine's Web site at http://www.usnews.com.
Southwest Airlines founder to speak \nHerb Kelleher, founder and executive chairman of Southwest Airlines Co., will speak Wednesday at IU's Kelley School of Business for the fifth annual Entrepreneur Day. Pershing Rifles event held today\nThe Pershing Rifles have performed color guard duties at Assembly Hall for almost three decades. The Pershing Rifles are a company of ROTC cadets and civilians at IUB and they will get a chance to show their stuff Saturday at the 2005 Pershing Rifles National Conference Competition. The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 8 a.m.\nThe company finished second overall last year at Fort Monroe in Virginia.
