After reading the article "Students frustrated with campus bus delays" (Dec. 10), I must say I totally agree with you. A bus driver missing in action is a thing that you see every day, especially for the C route bus. When they pass by Burger King, the bus driver stops and announces that he's going to take a break. What to do in this situation? \nThere's a bus number on the back of each city bus. Call Bloomington Transit and file a complaint with the bus number. I am sure if many of us each file a complaint, Bloomington Transit has got to do something to improve that. \nAs for the proposal of implementing a universal bus pass, I think that's just even more ridiculous.\nThat would mean those individuals that prefer to walk or ride a bike, even those that drive to school, would have to pay an even greater amount than the $30 we are paying which we never or rarely use. What about the people that live on campus? Everything is walking distance; the chance of them taking a bus is minimal. \nPersonally, I can get to any place on campus by foot faster than the bus would take me. I really hope someone would take those facts into account and plan a better system, which is not to help students and increase their already tight budget spending, but to actually help students to have a choice to decide whether they need the extra spending.\nMing C.
