I am still stunned about the insulting article "Stupid is as stupid votes" by Elisha Sauers. If she wants to bash Bush, that's her opinion and I respect that. However, the moment she arrogantly said Bush supporters "don't know diddlysquat about Iraq" and that we "live in Bizarro World" she crossed the line. She used only one study to support her opinion and applied those results to the entire Bush-supporting population. Did this study poll every Bush supporter in America? Well I wasn't polled, so where does she get the nerve to tell me that I know nothing about the world I'm living in or the man I'm supporting for president? I believe Elisha Sauers is mistaken when she says we Bush supporters live in "Bizarro World." It is she who must live there if she thinks she will get anywhere in journalism writing trash like that.

IUSA wants to change University rules to increase the number of "free speech zones" and to place them in more frequently traveled areas such as the Arboretum. I don't know about you, but I like the Arboretum and the rest of the campus the way it is: quiet and peaceful. I don't want to be bothered by a bunch of noisy protesting. I would hate to see the natural beauty of the campus trashed by more fliers and noise, or worse by semi-permanent tent villages like the 2001 Afghan war protests in Dunn Meadow.
