Bloomington woman wins $36,000

INDIANAPOLIS -- A Bloomington woman won $36,000 on the "Hoosier Millionaire" television show broadcast Saturday.\nPhyllis Woods advanced to the playoff round with $18,000 to compete against Thomas Yates of Paragon, who had $15,000. Yates' pick of $2,000 put him at $17,000, not enough to pass Woods.\nWoods doubled her winnings in the bonus round.\nOther contestants and their winnings were Leah Farley, Plainville, $9,000; Carl Jones, proxy for Joan Jones, Bloomington, $7,000; Juanita Reed, Burnettsville, $6,000; Mary Ann Spears, Fort Wayne, $12,000.
