Axl's 'One in a Million'

When I was elementary school, my father was a high school teacher, and he told me that only scumbags wore Metallica and Guns N' Roses shirts. Not coincidentally, those two bands shaped my taste in music more than any others.\nSince almost everything this band did from '87 to '92 is golden, most of this CD is a no-brainer. "Welcome to the Jungle," "Sweet Child O' Mine," "Paradise City," "Patience," "Civil War," "November Rain" -- that's half a CD, DONE. The only weak spots on this collection are "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" and "Live and Let Die." Those are the only songs in the Guns catalog which irritate me, and there is no good reason to include good covers in favor of great songs like "Rocket Queen," "My Michelle," "Mr. Brownstone," "Dust N' Bones" or "One in a Million." \nIf you like rock n' roll and have any sense, you own most if not all of the G N' R discography. If you don't, I would suggest you do yourself a favor and pick up "Appetite for Destruction," "G N' R Lies" and "Use Your Illusion I & II." If you have some change left over, pick up "The Spaghetti Incident?" for giggles. Don't thank me; thank Axl.
