Government being sued by ACLU for 'No-Fly' list\nWASHINGTON, D.C. -- American Civil Liberties Union's officials declined to comment in advance of their planned announcement Tuesday they would file a class-action lawsuit challenging the list of travelers the government has barred from flying because they're considered a threat. The civil rights group is representing seven plaintiffs.\nAirlines are instructed to stop anyone on the "no-fly" list compiled by the Transportation Security Administration. The ACLU contends, though, that some people are wrongfully put on the list.\nDavid Nelson is a law-abiding 34-year-old lawyer from Belleville, Ill. But he says the government treats him as if he's a threat to commercial aviation who shouldn't be allowed on a plane.

Rumsfeld backs more troops in Iraq if situation worsens\nWASHINGTON, D.C. -- If violence in Iraq gets worse, U.S. military commanders will get the troops they need to deal with it, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said Tuesday.\nCoalition forces fought on two fronts Tuesday, battling a Shiite-inspired uprising in southern Iraq and Sunni insurgents in the city of Fallujah, Iraq, in clashes that have killed dozens of American troops and at least 100 Iraqis since the weekend.\nCommanders are studying ways they might increase troops in Iraq if violence should spread much more widely, defense officials said.
