Memorial service to be held for student

A memorial service for Jeff Maiatico, 20, a marketing major in the Kelley School of Business, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Catholic Center, 1413 E. 17th St. Maiatico was killed Friday in a drag race. He was driving east of Bloomington when his roommate, junior Daipayan Banerjee, who was driving the vehicle, lost control of his 1997 Ford Mustang.\nThe memorial service is designed for people of all faiths. Maiatico's parents, Marc Maiatico and his wife, Anita, will be in attendance Sunday and look forward to meeting Jeff's friends and teachers at a reception following the service. Maiatico's parents would appreciate seeing any photographs or cards visitors would like to bring.
