Nothing 'Special' about Identity's special features

Identity DVD has a Liotta special features

An updated version of The Ten Little Indians, Identity combines the classic story line with a psychological thriller edge.\nWhen heavy rain floods the roads, 11 strangers are stranded at a motel in the middle of nowhere. One by one, people start dying, and a guessing game of whodunit proceeds. John Cusack stars as a former police officer working as a limo driver. Ray Liotta and Amanda Peet also turn in fine performances as other guests. \nThe DVD is pretty standard. The actual reproduction of the movie gets high marks, but most of the special features are nothing special. Included all on one disc are the theatrical and extended versions. While the disc also contains deleted scenes, it does not include these in the extended version, which is good because they would have thrown off the pace of the movie. \nSpecial features include a behind-the-scenes featurette, which is really more self-congratulatory than informative. It's a good movie but hardly the pinnacle of cinematic achievement the documentary makes it seem, although the brief part about how the rain machines worked was cool. Also, there is a director commentary and a trailer. Fans will be satisfied with both versions but beyond that, nothing really wows.
