The IU Police Department reported the following activity.\nJuly 1\n• Sophomore Kent Roberts reported the theft of his cell phone from the IU Outdoor Pool. Estimated loss is $150.\nJuly 2\n• A non-student visitor from out of town reported an attempted break-in to her vehicle while it was parked in the Indiana Memorial Union pay lot. Estimated damage is $2,500.\n• Junior Jessica Farmer, 21, resident of East Second Street, reported her wallet stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building. Estimated loss is $160.\nJuly 5\n• Non-student Jerry Hughes, 19, was arrested and transported to Monroe County Jail for operating while intoxicated and illegal consumption.\nJuly 6\n• Non-student Chris Young, 24, resident of Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested for public intoxication.\n• Graduate student Thaddeus Jones, resident of Sudbury Street, reported his bike missing from the bike rack located at the Chemistry Building. Estimated loss is $200.
