A quick tour around campus revealed plenty of evidence of this weekend's severe weather -- especially in the form of downed tree limbs and branches. \nThe Collins Living-Learning Center was littered with large branches, and the yards to several homes on Eighth Street also were filled with fallen tree limbs.\nSaturday's frequent weather changes allowed students a few breezy, yet sunny hours for outdoor graduation festivities in between sudden downpours and then buffeted them with severe storms later that night. The Bloomington Police Department said they received many weather-related calls Saturday night.\nThe strong winds continued Sunday, reaching up to 29 mph. \nLt. Lori Flynt of the IU Police Department said she received no reports of damage from Sunday's strong winds. She also said she was unaware of any damage on campus beyond the downed tree limbs and branches. \nThe weather didn't seem to dampen student celebration, though. Kilroy's employee Ryan Kraft said the bar was filled to capacity Saturday night, and the weather did not affect student turnout.
