Dorm porn investigation in hands of IU

The IU Police Department has completed its investigation into the reported pornographic filming at Teter Quad, and has turned their report over to IU officials. IU spokeswoman Jane Jankowski said the chancellor and the Dean of Students will be in charge of the next steps in the process.\n"When looking at matters involving student discipline, you want to make sure you have all the facts in order," Jankowski said.\nJankowski said the video, "Campus Invasion 32," will be reviewed for student misconduct and trademark violations.\n"Most likely, when the video is released, it will be reviewed," she said. "Until you see what representations of IU might be in the video, I think it is difficult to predict violations of trademark and licensing."\nShane Enterprises said they will not comment until the release of the video, which is scheduled to be in stores before the holiday season. \nIn previous IDS stories, Shane Enterprises was reported to have solicited invitations to the campus by various student groups, and claim to have been invited to Teter by a resident of the quad. According to the publicist for Shane Enterprises, all of the students involved signed waivers for their appearance in the upcoming film.\nIU maintains that the company wrongfully filmed on campus, and exploited students in making the film.
