Student assaulted near McNutt

A 22-year-old female student was physically assaulted at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday while she was walking in front of McNutt Quad, according to the IU Police Department. \nThe student was walking north on the sidewalk and saw the suspect coming towards her. He hit her on her right side and she fell down. She suffered abrasions and contusions. \nThe victim reported the incident at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.\nThe suspect is described as a tall male with short brown hair. He was wearing a light colored T-shirt. The victim did not provide any other information about the suspect. \nThe incident is under investigation by the IUPD.
