Two die in rural Indiana plane crash

LEBANON, Ind. -- Two people died when their small plane crashed in a Boone County field Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.\nThe Boone County Sheriff's Department identified the victims as 56-year-old George Mitten of Indianapolis and 48-year-old Robert Faith of Fortville.\nMitten was piloting the single-engine plane that crashed in a field near the Boone County/Hamilton County line shortly after taking off from Terry Airport, authorities said.\nThe cause of the crash is still under investigation.\nThe Federal Aviation Administration, the National Transportation Safety Board and state and county officials were investigating the crash late Wednesday night.
