For all involved in the search for Jill Behrman, this weekend was extremely productive. \nEvidence found on Saturday could lead investigators to Behrman's location, what happened on the day of her disappearance or to possible suspects, Detective Marty Deckard of the Bloomington Police Department said.\nDeckard said crews are looking to commence searches on the bottom of Salt Creek today.\n"We are hoping to search parts of the creek bottom today. Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate and hold off any bad weather," Deckard said.\nThis week's goal is to get creek water levels down, eliminate pooling in the creek bed and begin to thoroughly search the creek bed, he said. \nDeckard said he hopes nature cooperates with the search.\n"Mother Nature is a force more powerful than all of us. If we have to, we'll take another route," Deckard said. "Once the water is gone, we can commence searches."\nOn Sept. 9, investigators constructed two dams to seal off the creek where officials said Behrman's body is believed to be. Since then, the Department of Natural Resources has relocated over 5,000 fish to the Lake Monroe side of the dam. \nThroughout the past week, investigators have used search dogs and officers from numerous departments to search for evidence in the case. Tuesday's work dealt with seepage from the dams, which the search party had to contend with. Water levels dropped Thursday and Friday, which allowed investigators to get closer to the creek bottom. \nSaturday's search involved a search of the entire creek, revealing items with possible evidentiary value, which were sent off to be analyzed at a laboratory. Investigators have not been able to disclose information about the evidence. \nHeavy rains Saturday night and early Sunday morning left crews with greater amounts of mud, but throughout Sunday, sunshine and warm weather dried up a good portion of the mud. Deckard said investigators were able to continue efforts in their respective areas. \nHe said crews are keeping a positive outlook for the entire search despite the lack of previous experiences of this nature.\n"We keep a very positive mindset out there. Each day is one step closer to our goals," Deckard said. "We are writing the manual as we go. You might have plans A, B, C and D, and then realize you need plans E, F and G. We try to think ahead to the best and worst case scenarios."\nAnyone with information concerning Jill Behrman and her disappearance are urged to call the Bloomington Police Department at 349-3313 or the local FBI office at 332-9275.
