REMEMBRANCE GARDEN DEDICATION & COMMUNITY MEMORIAL CEREMONY\nWHERE: Seminary Square Park (Corner of W. Jordan Avenue, at 7 p.m.\nCONTACT: Kirk White, Special Assistant for External Relations and Director of Hoosiers for Higher Education, 855-0921.\nCOMMUNITY SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE\nWHAT: After a 7 p.m. service at the First United Methodist Church, a candlelight walk to Dunn Meadow to join the campus candlelight vigil at IU Dunn Meadow at 8:00 p.m. is planned.\nMONROE COUNTY COMMEMORATIVE EVENT\nWHAT: Visit the Monroe County Courthouse Rotunda at noon for a Monroe County government commenoration. Remarks will be given by Commissioner President Brian O'Neill and Bloomington Hospital Chaplin John Vander Zee. The Board of County Commissioners will be honoring all of the Fire Departments and Police Departments in Monroe County. A dedication of the new Indiana State Historical Marker, commemorating the history of the Monroe County Courthouse, is scheduled as well. Music will be provided by a combined band group from Bloomington High School North and Bloomington High School South.\nCONTACT: Monroe County Commissioners Office, 349-2550\nSEPTEMBER 11 MEMORIAL CONCERT\nWHAT: Enjoy a musical rememberance at 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church United Church of Christ, 2420 E. 3rd St. The concert will feature Brahms Requiem, Opus 45, sung in English. Featured soloists include Samuel Spade, baritone, Alison Bates, soprano, Edwin Penhorwood and Matthew Mazzoni, piano.
