New James Bond can't compare to old

Just like Sean Connery, nothing beats the original

007: Agent Under Fire\nRating: T for Teen\nFor: Playstation 2\nBy: EA Games\nJames Bond has never looked better. The latest 007 video game adventure for the Playstation 2 is chock full of great graphics and fun weapons. But "Agent Under Fire," despite its awesome graphics, can't quite top the original Nintendo 64 hit because of a crappy multiplayer mode.\nMI6's top agent is sent to rescue an American CIA operative taken captive by terrorists. Bond soon finds himself involved in a clone scandal where James must figure out who is really who. The gameplay is the best of any Bond game to date and makes the game worth buying.\nBond has some great moments. He drives a cool BMW and a tank. In one level James sits in a coal mine cart while shooting enemies. His weapons are the best yet with a good mix of shotguns, fully automatic assault rifles and grenade launchers. R, Q's successor, supplies Bond with some really cool gadgets. Throughout the game Bond uses a laser to melt locks, a claw to climb multiple stories of a building at a time and many other computerized gadgets. \nThe music is the typical Bond theme, but it really makes an impact with the feel of the game. After playing "Agent Under Fire" hour after hour the theme remains engraved in your brain.\nWhat made the original 64-bit version of Bond so great was the multiplayer mode. The PS2 version has the same mode, but the levels of play are much smaller. And only three or four of the them are fun to play. When a player comes back after being killed it only takes about four seconds to run into the other player again. The game's levels don't really give enough room to make the hunt interesting.\nDespite good graphics and cool weapons, a weak multiplayer mode keeps "Agent Under Fire" from topping the N64 pioneer. But if you like playing solo, this 007 game is the best one for your money.\n
