Behrman's parents, FBI agent to lead safety discussion

Union Board event to address questions about disappearance

The parents of missing IU student Jill Behrman will by joined by an FBI agent to to discuss Jill's disappearance and address the issue of personal safety in Bloomington at 7 p.m. today in the Whittenberger Auditorium.\nThe Whittenberger is located on the first floor of the Indiana Memorial Union. The event, "Looking Back and Moving Forward" is free to the public and is being sponsored by Union Board.\nCo-sponsors for this event include Office of Women's Affairs, Division of Recreational Sports, IU Foundation, Commission on Personal Safety and the IU Alumni Association. \nBehrman was 19 years old when she disappeared on May 31, 2000. She was last seen riding her bike near her home that morning. \nThe Bloomington community has united to support Eric and Marilyn Behrman in the search for their missing daughter, junior Lectures Director Nick Hillman said in a release.\n"The Remembering Jill discussion is an event that will not only continue the network of support between the Bloomington community and the Behrman family, but it will also make the Indiana University community more aware of personal safety," Hillman said.
