A security breach at the bursar's office allowed a hacker to download the personal information of 3,100 students in January. Now as a result, the trustees unanimously passed a resolution aimed to avoid such security problems in the future.\nThe resolution charges the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology "to develop and implement policies necessary to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access to Indiana University's information technology infrastructure regardless of the Indiana University office involved."\nIt also directs the same office to assume "leadership, responsibility, and control of responses to unauthorized access"
