In his article, Charlie Nelms, vice president for student development and diversity, makes the absurd statement that he is one of "those of us who feel the stinging effects of slavery, bigotry and racism on a daily basis." That this man can make a claim such as this boggles the mind, especially considering that if it were not for the professional hatred-mongers such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who survive by denying the gains made by blacks, his meaningless position would not exist. Does Mr. Nelms honestly believe that he would be living in this country, in the life-style in which he lives, holding the position he has, had his ancestors not been brought here as slaves? Because Mr. Nelms brought up the subject of racism, I would be willing to bet that no white man has ever held, been considered for or ever will be considered for the position of vice president for student development and diversity. That is one of the daily, stinging effects of racism -- black liberal racism against whites.
