U.S. bombing of Iraq unsuccessful method

Congratulations! I agree with you that bombing Iraq is a proven unsuccessful method of removing Saddam Hussein or any other dictator from power, ("Bush was wrong to bomb Iraq," Feb. 28). President George W. Bush might want to learn from the mistake the Clinton administration made in 1999 by moving NATO into a 78-day long air war against Yugoslavia. \nThe war was waged to remove from power the former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic. But all that it accomplished was ruining the country economy and inflicting terror and injuries on civilians. Milosevic was indeed removed from power by the will of power in regular elections, and so should Hussein. That's the way of true democracy and the only one for which America should stand.
