Ericka Stewart, 20, of the 1100 block of Carnaby Street, was arrested Nov. 29 by the IU Police Department on charges of obstruction of justice, IUPD spokesman Lt. Jerry Minger said. Stewart, a laboratory technician at Jordan Hall, was arrested after police filed a probable cause affidavit for false reporting in connection with a Nov. 7 Lawrence County robbery and issued a warrant for her arrest, Minger said.\nStewart reported her car, a 1991 Pontiac, as stolen to IUPD, Minger said. The car was found by Lawrence County police, Minger said, when they arrested three robbery suspects and Bloomington residents in connection with more than three burglaries in the Springdale area -- two men and a 17-year-old girl.\nThe suspects were driving the car when Lawrence County resident Larry Flick encountered them leaving his residence. Flick reported to police that as the three fled from his residence, someone fired shots at him, Minger said.\nPolice later discovered that all three of the arrested suspects shared the same Bloomington residence as Stewart, Minger said.
