Geyer did what was needed for team

When you look through the box score, Tom Geyer's performance will never jump out as being exceptional. From a basketball standpoint, Tom was really nothing more than a practice player, but from a human being standpoint, Tom was a First Team All-American. \nBesides being a Dean's List business student, Tom represented this University as a student-athlete as well as any player in the history of Indiana basketball. Tom worked hard in practice to not only improve his game, but also the game of each of his teammates. He did that because of the fact he is a team player. \nTom Geyer played with the idea in mind that there was no "I" in team. He got to practice early and stayed late and generally did whatever was asked of him to make the team better. So this season, the Hoosiers will be short about one point and one rebound a game, but more importantly, they will be short a great person. \nDavid Pillar\nSenior\nMen's basketball manager
