IU’s Gaza encampment
IU President Pamela Whitten and Provost Rahul Shrivastav released their first statement addressing the Gaza encampment Sunday evening — the fourth day of protests. The statement did not specifically mention the police’s forceful and aggressive arrests of pro-Palestinian protesters, including IU students and faculty, at Dunn Meadow on Thursday and Saturday.
