A 19-year-old IU student reported another student for rape Sunday after an incident at a home on the 300 block of North Park Avenue.
The victim told IUPD the suspect was an acquaintance they knew previous to the night of the reported rape.
The incident was reported to have occurred between 12:30 and 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning before the victim reported it at 1:42 p.m. later that afternoon. The case is still under investigation.
Clarification: The use of "they" pronouns was used to protect the victim's identity.
