A burglary was reported by residents of McNutt Quad at 3:12 a.m. Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing, according to the IU Police Department.
The suspect entered the building at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, by tearing the screen off an unlocked ground floor window, according to an IU-Bloomington crime alert.
The suspect was described as a 18- to 19-year-old white male, according to the crime alert. He was described as 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds with medium-length brown hair and a slight beard.
The suspect had a large tattoo on his right shoulder and left wearing a pair of blue jeans and a pair of black Vans shoes.
