Purdue’s senior backcourt of KK Houser and Courtney Moses combined to score 46 points—only seven fewer than IU scored as a team—as Purdue handed IU its third consecutive Big Ten loss 86-53.

IU looks to end road struggles

The last time the IU women’s basketball team won a Big Ten road game was Feb. 10, 2011 against Illinois. Almost three years later, that streak has accumulated into 19 consecutive road losses with Wednesday’s defeat at Wisconsin. The Hoosiers will look to put an end to that streak when it faces Purdue 7 p.m. Friday at West Lafayette.

Compact schedule brings challenge

The Hoosiers won all six non-conference road games. They will be playing in their first road game since Dec. 29 when they face Wisconsin tonight. Tonight’s contest against the Badgers is the first road game of the season.

IU women's basketball back in action

On Jan. 4, the IU women’s basketball game against Purdue was cancelled. The inclement weather, which forced the matchup against the Boilermakers to be postponed, gave the team extended time to prepare for Ohio State. Despite concern for the additional time between games his team has, IU Coach Curt Miller said the team has remained focused.

Hoosiers stay perfect through non-conference schedule

To an outside observer, the IU women's basketball team’s post-game demeanor following its 62-55 victory against Xavier on Sunday wouldn’t appear out of the ordinary. However, the road win marked IU’s perfect run through the gauntlet of its non-conference schedule.
