IU faces 21-0 Illini in final game

The No. 45 IU men's tennis team will return home this weekend for its final regular season contests of the year. The Hoosiers enter the weekend on a five game losing streak, but the team hopes to end its struggles against rival and No. 50 Purdue today. The Hoosiers have a 3-5 record in Big Ten play while the Boilermakers are 6-2.

Invite is last before Big Tens

This weekend the IU women's golf team will travel to Columbus, Ohio, to compete in the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational. The Hoosiers are coming off a fourth place finish in the Indiana Invitational two weeks ago and have had a week of practice to prepare for the Lady Buckeye Invite.

Fox show to feature Cuban

One of IU's most successful alumni is being featured on Fox Sports Net's 'Beyond the Glory.' Former business student and current Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has his life story told in the 60-minute documentary which covers everything from his childhood to his current state as the most visible owner in the NBA. The program is based around Cuban's road to success through his ventures that spanned from his childhood in Mt. Lebanon, Pa. through his days here in Bloomington and finishes with his current job in Dallas.

IU to compete in Big Ten regatta

The Hoosiers will be seeing their first all Big Ten regatta this weekend when they head to East Lansing, Mich. The crew team will be racing against Big Ten powerhouses Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. Coach Mark Wilson said he expects to see stiff competition this weekend.

Several travel to West Coast

This weekend most of the No. 21 men's track and field team will stay home, but several will travel to Walnut, Calif., for the Mt. Sac Relays, which began Thursday and will continue through Saturday. There the athletes will face top national competition, as they have all season so far.

Select athletes to compete The No. 14 IU women's track and field team will be sending four representatives out West this weekend to compete at the Mt. Sac Relays. The event will feature top talent from around the nation.

Season ends against rival Purdue

The weekend dual match has become routine for the women's tennis team. This weekend the Hoosiers (9-14, 1-7 Big Ten) are facing No. 22 Illinois (13-6, 6-2) on Saturday and Purdue (11-9, 5-3) on Sunday. The Hoosiers end their season with their third straight weekend of competition.

Busy weekend for IU

After securing its first win in 10 tries, the Hoosier softball team will try to add to the momentum with two double-headers this weekend. The Hoosiers will start out the weekend at home against the Ball State Cardinals Saturday and will return to Big Ten play with a match-up against the No. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes Sunday.

IU splits games, ends losing streak

The IU softball team came into Wednesday's double-header with an 0-10 Big Ten record and an eight-game skid with six of those games going by two runs or less. Luckily for the Hoosiers, the Kentucky Wildcats came into Bloomington with an eight-game slide of their own. Each team was able to break both of their losing streaks Wednesday with Kentucky winning the first game 9-5, and IU taking the second contest 4-2. The second game had a very interesting ending.

Tran steps up to No.1 Big Ten spot

Junior women's tennis player Linda Tran made it her goal before coming to college to play in the No. 1 spot at a Division I university by her junior year. Tran has accomplished that goal by starting in the No. 1 singles and doubles spots this year for the Hoosiers.

Heroics save Hoosiers

The baseball team rallied from an 8-1 deficit Tuesday night to escape from Dayton, Ohio with a non-conference victory over Wright State. The win avenges IU's March 26 loss to the Raiders that denied coach Bob Morgan his 1,000th career victory at home.
