This exhibit brings disgrace to an inspiring story of two young migrants.

Pictures of Tom Fox sit on the wall Sept. 7 , 2022, as part of "The Courageous Journey of Tom Fox" exhibit at Maxwell Hall, which features sixty photographs taken by Michael A. Schwarts of Fox during his last month's alive living with AIDS.

The limited time exhibit surrounding Tom Fox’s life is quite heart-wrenching.

A promotional sign for a theatre production of "Sherlock Holmes" is on display at the "Sherlock Holmes in 221 Objects" exhibit. The IU Lilly Library will run the exhibit through Dec. 16.

You may need a microscope to find interesting parts in the Sherlock Holmes exhibition.

The Herman B Wells Library is located at 1320 E. 10th St. It houses the Black Film Center which collects and preserves films created by Black filmmakers.

New Gallery Walk exhibits will be at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, Rainbow Bakery and I Fell.

The spring 2022 BFA Thesis Exhibition, featuring work from graduating BFA students, will open on April 19 at the Grunwald Gallery. The exhibition will officially close April 30. All events at the Grunwald Gallery are free and open to the public.

The Kinsey Institute will present the exhibition “Intimate Forms,” featuring works by artist Emilio Sanchez, until May 6 at the Gayle Karch Cook Center in Maxwell Hall. Sanchez's abstract style works were inspired by Cuba's pre-revolution architecture, where he spent his childhood.

Artist Michael Sherwin will present a new exhibition called “Vanishing Points.”

The Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art will lead a curator-guided tour of "Swing Landscape": Stuart Davis and the Modernist Mural exhibition at 3 p.m. on March 6 on the museum’s first floor. Davis’ 1938 mural "Swing Landscape" is considered by many art historians to be one of the most important American paintings of the 20th century.

Local artist Danny Bolton’s multimedia, abstract artworks span his decade-long career.

Local artist and Eskenazi Museum of Art faculty member Joii Cooper’s art exhibition “Strong Joy” is open in Bloomington’s City Hall throughout the month of February. Cooper’s collection, which is included on the IU Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center’s calendar for Black History Month, is meant to depict and spread joy.
