Provost Robel to travel to South Korea

IU Provost Lauren Robel and other IU faculty are traveling Nov. 30 to Seoul, South Korea, to connect with alumni and strengthen existing joint business, economics and law programs between IU and Korean universities.

Faculty Council announces support for Freedom Indiana

The Faculty Council unanimously endorsed President Michael McRobbie’s decision that IU join Freedom Indiana, a state-wide coalition working to defeat the House Joint Resolution 6, Associate Vice President of IU Communications Mark Land said.

Freedom Indiana campaign leaders stated in a press release that having the state’s largest university as a part of the coalition will strengthen the force of their message to lawmakers, who will consider HJR6 during the upcoming legislative session.

High school students boost IU enrollment

IU reached record enrollment with 46,817 students this semester, the University announced Wednesday. This figure, however, includes 4,490 high school students also tallied because of changes in a program for high school students seeking college credits with IU.
