Junior Quinn Ashley waits for their Gender Warriors meeting Wednesday night in the LGBTQ+ Culture Center. Ashley said they were surprised when a federal court partially banned President Donald Trump's move to ban transgender people from serving in the military, which was supposed to go into effect in March 2018.

The IU Health Center is located at 10th Street and Jordan Avenue. Campus Action for Democracy organized a town hall Wednesday night to discuss issues students have with the center.

LifeDesigns, located at Winslow Road and Walnut Street Pike, provides services and support to people with disabilities across southern Indiana. Its group home for disabled Bloomington residents will be outfitted with $14,600 in solar panels by the end of 2017, thanks to a grant provided by Duke Energy.

Jacob Grimsley, the shift manager, uses his hands to flatten out balls of dough. Grimlsey began working at Azzip a week before the restaurant's grand opening on Oct. 14. "It's a great place to work," he said. "Everyone is awesome."

Tyler Elpers, the general manager, uses a machine to divide up dough into smaller chunks to be used for pizzas, applying flour liberally. "Flour is your best friend," he said. Bloomington's Azzip location, which opened in October, has its headquarters in Evansville. 

Sliced pizzas rest on plates, awaiting delivery to customers who wait in the dining area. "We care about what you're eating, and we care about how it looks," Elpers said. "We really want this to be a fully customized opportunity for you. It's all about the experience here, and you're not going to get it from another pizza place."

Grimsley squeezes sauce onto a pizza for a customer. Azzip's pizzas are made to order in front of customers, who can choose from a wide array of ingredients to customize their pizza.

Grimsley cuts the pizza in quick, deft slices after it comes out of the oven. Azzip is able to do pizzas in a half-and-half style. 

Elpers uses a docker to perforate the pizza dough. Doing so creates tiny dimples in the pizza that ensure the pizza bakes evenly and that bubbles don't develop in the dough while baking.

Tabitha Burton's character, Cecelia, coaches Mike Sheehan's character, Duncan, on how to channel Lady Gaga's "Telephone" persona during a tech rehearsal of their play, "Going Gaga." Burton and Sheehan were part of a team competing in the Ike & Julie Arnove PlayOffs, in which a team of a playwright, director and three actors have 24 hours to work with a surprise theme, prop and line of dialogue to create a full production.

Shalom Community Center, located on Walnut Street, provides resources for people experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Ryan Sandy, a senior theater student, applies drag makeup in his bathroom. Sandy, who performs regularly as drag queen Ruth N. Nasia at the Back Door, began doing drag in June and used his background in the theater to inform how he does his make-up. 

Rodgers Cemetery is located across from Foster Quad on Fee Lane. It's one of two cemeteries on the IU campus, along with Dunn Cemetery.
