IU alumnus David Neville returned Saturday afternoon to IU after competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Neville won a bronze and a gold medal in the 400-meter dash and the 4 X 100-meter relay, respectively.

The funeral procession for Monroe County Deputy Sarah Irenen Jones leaves Friday afternoon at the Sherman Oaks Christian Church. Deputy Jones was killed in the line of duty Oct. 10 while directing traffic around an accident scene on State Road 45. Officers from across the state and across the country came to show their respect during the ceremony.
