I’ve been a fan of Pixar for a long time. Like most people my age, I grew up with their films and was obsessed with “The Incredibles” as a kid. I’ve seen “Finding Nemo” and “Monsters, Inc.” more times than I can count and “Ratatouille” still goes as hard as the first time I saw it.

June 28, 1969 changed the course of queer history forever.

Waves crash against the rocks. Seagulls ride the gusts of wind overhead. A clump of flowers flutter in the breeze at the edge of a cliff. Are those voices? Or is it just the ocean?

Well, the wait’s finally over. It’s been a whopping five years since “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” graced our screens, and we’ve finally been blessed by the spider-gods with a sequel.

All across the internet – and especially on Elon Musk’s wild west platform that is Twitter – conservatives are being whipped into a frenzy. It isn’t about taxes being raised or any other issue they claim to care about, but about brands making money. What horror.

It’s March. I’m sitting near Delicate Arch on a rust-colored slab of sandstone, eating a slightly-melted turkey and cheese sandwich. Despite the dozens of other people milling around on the sandy bluff and a nearly 400-foot drop just a few feet behind me, it’s the most content I’ve been in a long time.

I’m a fairly avid Dungeons & Dragons player. It might sound corny, but there’s nothing comparable to forgetting about your worldly troubles and spending a few hours a week as someone else. So, when “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” dropped on Paramount+ recently, I knew I had to check it out.

During the pandemic, employers let slip something they can’t take back — thousands of jobs can be done from home. Now, they’re desperately trying to convince everyone that isn’t the case.

Going into the theater, I didn’t have high expectations for “Evil Dead Rise.”

Recently, a few of my good friends came over to catch up after the end of the school year. We usually watch a movie whenever they come over, and this time we chose “Frankenhooker” – yes, that’s a real film – out of Amazon Prime’s absolutely deranged selection of horror B-movies.

A dorm is a hard place to sleep in. There are people down the hallway having a loud party. There’s the uncomfortable mattress that barely fits your body. There’s probably someone also trying to sleep about five feet away from you, too. And they probably snore.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that Letterboxd is my favorite app. I’m on it nearly every day, even when I haven’t watched a movie. I scroll through reviews, look at my friends’ accounts and add copious films to my watchlist.

Nothing can really top the magic of seeing an amazing film for the first time. The characters are fun and fresh. The twists are exciting and new. And when the credits roll, you know you’ve been changed forever.

A wave is sweeping the country. It’s not the famed “red wave” or even a “blue wave,” but a wave of legislation. Dozens of bills introduced by Republicans across the country are, unsurprisingly, openly discriminatory and dangerous.

I watch a ton of old, semi-obscure horror films. I really enjoy putting on a flick that doesn’t take itself seriously at all and, most importantly, features some totally gross and cool effects.

Once upon a time, there was a country that had more than a few problems. There was extreme partisanship in the government, ever-growing hate toward marginalized communities and a workforce increasingly disillusioned with the lies they had been fed for decades. Instead of using their power to fix these problems, politicians decided to focus on a made-up issue: a labor shortage.
