Every year, without fail, there are at least two months where it seems everyone is sick. In every lecture hall, all you can hear is coughs and sneezing. Between classes, work, extracurriculars and studying, no one has time to get sick.

I agree with an episode of “West Wing” where first lady Abigail Barlett went off on the Mexico City Policy, also known as the “global gag rule,” an executive order that denies federal funding for any Non-Government Organization that provides abortions in overseas aid, for what it is — an underhanded way to stop abortion from occurring without understanding the horrifying side effects of cutting off aid.

The Affordable Care Act, also known as “Obamacare,” was enacted in 2010. Since then, there have been a series of successes and failures. While there are many different ways to look at the law, every person, whether conservative or liberal, can agree the Republican party’s claim to repeal Obamacare will cause multiple problems.
