The USA International Harp Competition will return to Bloomington from June 28 to July 9. Contestants from 20 countries will travel to Bloomington to compete in front of a jury of distinguished international judges.
Conan Gray, American singer and songwriter, will make a stop in Bloomington for his upcoming “Superache” tour. Gray will perform at 8 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the IU Auditorium.
Visit Bloomington is partnering with Indiana Limestone Company to conduct a tour of the Empire Quarry as part of Limestone Month. On June 28, participants will experience the operations of the Empire Quarry hole — the site where the stone from the Empire State Building was extracted.
The City of Bloomington will commemorate Juneteenth on June 18 at Switchyard Park. The annual event will allow community members to celebrate the holiday with food and music from 2-7 p.m.

Cardinal Stage will present “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” June 9-26 at the John Waldron Auditorium. The show will star James Rose as Hedwig and Paige Scott as Yitzhak. Dan Kazemi will be the music director and John Jarboe will direct.

The third annual Fourth and Rogers Block Party will be held 5-9 p.m. on June 3. West Fourth Street will be closed for a block on either side of Rogers Street to present art, live music, food and entertainment.
Bloomington Handmade Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 4. The fair is free to attend and will be held on Kirkwood Avenue between Lincoln Street and Indiana Avenue.
Granfalloon Festival is back for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. Presented annually by IU Arts and Humanities Council, Granfalloon will be held June 1-5 at various locations around campus and downtown Bloomington.
