Mohammed, a refugee who arrived last year, and his wife present tea, assorted nuts and an Afghan pudding called firni Nov. 10, 2022, in their home in Bloomington. Mohammed, his wife and his five sons left behind everything they owned in the rushed exodus from the country. They are starting over fresh in Bloomington but still remember where they are from.
