Latimer to Decide Future in the Next Month

Indiana University junior wide receiver Cody Latimer posted a picture on Instagram Monday morning with a caption that indicated he will make a decision in the next month between returning to IU for his senior season and declaring for the 2014 NFL Draft.

Hoosiers lead 52-35 over Ospreys at halftime

At halftime, the IU men's basketball team leads the North Florida Ospreys 52-35, led by sophomore guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell with 12 points a two 3-pointers. The Hoosiers started the game early with great ball movement, managing to make the extra pass and find the open man - s skill they struggled with in the second half against Syracuse Tuesday.

Murphy Earns First-Team Academic All-America Honors

The Capital One Academic All-America(R) Division I football first team was announced on Thursday and IU junior safety Mark Murphy was selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Murphy, an informatics major, has a 3.91 GPA. He is the ninth IU player to receive the honor.

HALFTIME: IU trails Syracuse 33-29

After finding themselves down a quick 10 points, IU stormed back in the first half to cut its halftime deficit to 33-29 against Syracuse at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y. Syracuse scored the first 10 points of the game, and IU started 0-for-4 from behind the 3-point line in that stretch.

Stephen Houston Leaves Everything on the Field in His Final Game

After sophomore running back Tevin Coleman suffered a right ankle sprain in IU's 52-35 win against Illinois, senior Stephen Houston reclaimed the starting job in the Hoosiers' backfield--a position he had held in each of his previous two seasons in Bloomington. "I thought Stephen Houston and D'Angelo Roberts were capable," IU Coach Kevin Wilson said. Houston started in Madison, Wisc.

IU leads Purdue 35-9

Barring an epic comeback, IU will take home the Old Oaken Bucket today. The Hoosiers (4-7, 2-5) lead Purdue (1-10, 0-7) at the half 35-9. Sophomore quarterback Tre Roberson got the start, and responded well.
