Hoosiers hold off late rally to defeat No. 22 Iowa 86-84

IU opens Big Ten play against Iowa

IU opens Big Ten play against No. 22 Iowa in Assembly Hall in a clashing of the two highest scoring teams in the Big Ten on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Hoosiers (13-0) are off to the best start in program history and are the only remaining undefeated Big Ten team entering conference play.

Fischer withdraws from IU

IU Coach Tom Crean announced Monday that freshman forward Luke Fischer has withdrawn from IU and ended his affiliation with the men's basketball program. "Luke has decided to withdraw from Indiana and pursue another educational and basketball opportunity," Crean said.

Hoosiers to compete in Ken Kraft Midlands Championships

Evanston, Ill. will be the center of collegiate wrestling this week as Northwestern hosts the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships, which is often considered to be the premier amateur-wrestling tournament during the season. IU will be one of more than 40 schools competing in the prestigious tournament.

IU women's basketball receives 12 AP Top 25 votes

IU women's basketball earned votes in The Associated Press' women's college basketball poll for the second consecutive week after defeating Cleveland State 107-73 Saturday in Cleveland.
