Freshman guard Larryn Brooks leads all scorers with 22 points. Junior center Chelsie Butler led the Golden Eagles with 10.

The Hoosiers started off with a quick 12-0 run in the first four minutes and 13 seconds of the game. During that run, the Hoosiers shot 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) from the field.

An offensive rebound and put-back basket by Marquette junior forward Apiew Ojulu ended the run, but IU senior forward Simone Deloach responded with a baseline jumper to put the Hoosiers up 14-2.

Brooks would score IU's next eight points for a 22-7 lead. The Hoosiers led by as many as 20 in the half.

Turnovers were a problem early for the Golden Eagles, who committed four in the first four minutes. They finished the first half with 11.

IU shot 57.1 percent in the first half, while Marquette shot only 28 percent from the field.
