Hoosiers fall to Eastern Washington, 88-86

Entering Monday night, Tom Crean had never lost in Assembly Hall in the month of November.

A stunning 88-86 loss to Eastern Washington changed that.

The Eagles rode 27 points from Drew Brandon, 25 from Tyler Harvey and 20 from Venky Jois to knock off the Hoosiers in Assembly Hall. No other Eagle scored more than six points.

Yogi Ferrell's 27 points, seven assists and four rebounds weren't enough for IU, despite his best efforts late. The junior guard scored 19 points in the second half, for one stretch scoring or assisting on 15 consecutive IU points.

Troy Williams fell just short of a double-double, tallying 19 points and nine rebounds.

The loss drops IU to 4-1 on the season. IU takes the floor next Friday night against UNC-Greensboro.
