Billie’s pregnancy is progressing nicely, and her sister, Abby, is jealous. She’s been married for fiive years and is desperate to become a mom. The only thing standing in her way is husband Nick and his fear of change.

Billie and Abby hatch a plot. After feeding Nick just the right amount of booze at brunch, Billie asks Nick and Abby to become godparents. Abby is not only thrilled, but since she already knew, she used it to give Nick a not-so-subtle hint about becoming parents themselves. Nick still doesn’t want to be a father, and Abby gets mad at him.

Things aren’t too shabby in Billie’s world, though – a nice sports writer seems interested in her, even though she’s very pregnant. James cautions her that he’s a pregnophile – a guy who only dates pregnant girls – because why else would he be into Billie? Billie brushes his concerns away and has dinner with him anyway.

Meanwhile, Zack is trying to get Davis to stop smoking pot. Zack makes him flush his stash, then brings him to the bar where Billie and an upset Abby are hanging out. Billie goes into the office to finish a project and have a dinner date.

Davis and Abby hit it off well – too well. While Zack is distracted by a pretty girl, Abby and Davis go back to Davis’s apartment. When Billie and her date arrive (and scare off Zack’s potential hook-up), Zack tells Billie that the guy is a pregnophile. After hearing it again, Billie asks him, and he not only denies it but says he’s hurt and leaves – which leaves Billie free to notice that Abby is missing.

Luckily, Davis calls Zack’s phone – he’s hiding in his bathroom because a drunk Abby wants him to father her baby. Zack and Billie are ready to race off . . . and then Nick shows up, demanding to see Abby. They’re forced to let him tag along, but they manage to get up to Davis’s apartment first since Nick has to parallel park his car. They find Abby and Davis sitting on the couch . . . stoned.

Apparently Davis didn’t flush all the pot.

Nick rushes up to the apartment. Abby throws herself at him, and he decides he’s ready to have a baby – he doesn’t even seem to notice what she’s been up to.

All’s well that ends well (except Billie running into her pregnophile and “warning” his date – who, it turns out, is his not-pregnant sister). The series has steadily gotten better, and I have some high hopes for future episodes.
