The secret is out on the sex of Bryan and David’s baby. The two wanted to keep it a surprise, but Goldie accidentally told Bryan they were having a boy. Bryan then proceeds to tell David who is absolutely thrilled. His whole life all he wanted was to have a son, but Bryan is less than thrilled. He wanted a girl and his insecurities about a son of his own start to arise. He tells Goldie he’s just not that type of boy and he worries David will have more of a connection with the baby. Bryan also doesn’t want the relationship he had with his father, but he ends up proving to himself that he could be a great father after hosting David’s football team for a pizza party.

Shania gets help on her school project from Goldie and Bryan. She’s supposed to do a presentation on influential women in history and she chooses Cher. Bryan helps put together an elaborate routine and Goldie makes her costume. The presentation goes great, but Shania ends up getting suspended on the zero-tolerance policy of a hate crime. The song she chose to sing, ‘Half Breed’ is offensive according to the school. Goldie decides to try out her lawyer skills and goes in to fight for Shania. She fails miserably and realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to be a lawyer. She then realizes how many clothes and costumes she has made for Shania and thinks a possibility in fashion is the right choice.

This was a really good episode. It gave me a warm feeling when I saw the baby’s room designed by Bryan. I wondered why Nana wasn’t in this show… It was nice catching it the other day at home. One of my DISH coworkers reminded me that a new show came on. My DISH Hopper recorded the show automatically using PrimeTime Anytime, which records all four major networks, and I loved it. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for tonight’s episode!
