Another season of The Hills has arrived, and one word comes to mind: DRAMA. I’m still getting over the fact that my favorite girl Lauren won’t be returning to the series this season, but the show has at least one new chick on the block: Kristin. Remember Miss Drama Queen herself from Laguna Beach? She’s back, and you’re either going to love her or hate her. Lauren’s Opinion Read the rest of this entry »

After the fantastic season premiere that was more or less a House movie, there was bound to be a letdown in episode two. But I didn’t expect a letdown this big. Read the rest of this entry »

At this point, the plot of Bored to Death is much less interesting than the potential weaving underneath its skin. Right now the show is like an ugly girl you show interest in during middle school out of the hopes she will blossom into an uber-babe later on. Maybe that’s just me.

Lewis Black guest-stars as the crazy (imagine that, Lewis Black playing someone crazy? Nah, never) professor/bug expert on this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon, Howard, and Raj call in Black’s cooky professor character to help identify a rare species of cricket. The situation gets interesting when Sheldon and Howard bet their best stacks of comic books that each is right. When the species of cricket is finally identified, Sheldon must surrender his most treasured comic book, The Flas. It was hilarious to hear a CalTech physicist admit that, after losing, he was a “chicken’s bitch”. Read the rest of this entry »

With all the talk about healthcare in the country, even Entourage was not immune to a doctor-centered episode.
E gets freaked out about STDs when he finds out a girl he recently slept with also slept with Drama…and might have given him something. He spends the episode freaking out about the test results. Read the rest of this entry »

This season’s premiere renewed my interest but hardly restored my faith. To my surprise and utter joy, this episode finally revived some of the mystique and charm that made the first season so endearing. Read the rest of this entry »

No, it isn’t actually happening (THANK GOD!), but it could, if industry speculation is correct. Summit Entertainment, rich off the runaway success of the film version of ‘Twilight,’ which was made on a shoestring and released to horrifying massive profits, is reportedly in the market to acquire another struggling studio out in Hollywood. And The Weinstein Company, producers of Project Runway, are definitely among those in trouble. Read the rest of this entry »

On this week’s Castle: wagers in bad taste, way-too-on-point-conversations, and things that make you sing “I’m On a Boat!” (…That last one may only apply to me.) Read the rest of this entry »
