An Online Quiz That’s Acutally Worth Your Time?

It’s only a matter of time before the swine flu reaches IU in force. And now, thanks to the miracle that is modern technology, students will have a way to diagnose themselves – without having to step foot in the Health Center.

We can visit the H1N1 Response Center – a website developed by students at Emory University in Atlanta – that uses a series of online questions to diagnose individuals with the swine flu.

After entering your zip code, gender and age and answering questions like how long you’ve felt ill and what symptoms you have exhibited, the online quiz will tell you the likelihood that you’ve been infected and offer advice on how to proceed.

The website also answers frequently asked questions about swine flu.

This is a hypochondriacs dream! Now one can be diagnosed with an illness without making the burdensome trip to the hospital.

I just hope this quiz finds its way to Facebook soon.
