Every good Republican has heard the age-old grasshopper and ant story. You know, the one where the ant works hard all summer while the grasshopper lays by the pool and drinks Bud Light – or whatever it is that lazy grasshoppers do during the summer. Then, when winter comes, the ant reaps the benefits of his hard labor… and watches the grasshopper starve to death in the freezing cold, patting himself on the back all the while for being such a hard worker. But now the GOP has updated the story – and circulated it via e-mail.

There are a lot of things that can be argued about health care. That America has the best system is not one of them. Just like the many Americans who think they love their coverage until they actually need it, Glenn Beck seems to go through the process in reverse. Maybe instead of health reform, we should just all get a job at Fox News. That seems to fix the problem of our mangled health care system right up.
