Different story, same ending: IU falls 31-28
After two weeks of giving up leads in the fourth quarter, IU played the comeback role today. But it wasn’t enough.
Anchored by 294 rush yards, Wisconsin held on to a 31-28 win in Bloomington on Saturday afternoon.
IU trailed 24-14 at halftime but narrowed the lead to three points following a Trea Burgess touchdown run with four minutes remaining. However, the Hoosier defense could not stop Wisconsin, and the Badgers ran out the clock to secure their seventh victory this season.
IU falls to 4-6 overall and 1-5 in conference play.
