Dumes, Finkelmeier likely out for Wednesday exhibition
IU coach Tom Crean met with the media earlier in the hour and, among other things relevant to the upcoming exhibition with Grace College on Wednesday, he updated us on the status of the four guys who sat out at Saturday’s Haunted Hall of Hoops scrimmage.
Jeremiah Rivers and Matt Roth both had their first full contact practices today. Yesterday, they did everything but the live work, so we really changed our practice to allow them to get more action, five-on-zero and shooting and things of that nature. But they look fine today.
Matt is wearing a mask, so it’s going to take a little a little while to get used to that. Jeremiah looked fine, but Brett Finkelmeier and Devan Dumes have not been back yet. Devan has done some shooting, but nothing to make me think that he’s going to be able to play tomorrow. Or Brett. But we should have Jeremiah and Matt available with everybody else.
