Calomeris to join IU as walk-on

Our Lady of Good Counsel (Md.) guard Andrew Calomeris will join IU as a walk-on next season, the Washington Post reports.

Calomeris is a 6-foot-3-inch guard who was recieving interest from Division 3 schools.

IU Assistant Coach Kenny Johnson knew Calomeris from the former’s days as an AAU coach and extended the offer in person.

Calomeris will be one of at least two new walk-on players next season for IU. Guard Paul Bayt transferred from Manhatten earlier this season.
