IU Hockey Club vs. Illini game to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy
When IU Hockey Club takes the ice against the rival Fighting Illini at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Frank Southern Arena, it will be skating for more than Midwest bragging rights.
The No. 24 Hoosiers (9-8-1) will team up with the Illini (12-5-2) as part of Big Ten Challenge to raise money and collect canned goods for victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Student tickets at the door are $3 with a canned food item and $5 without. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
The arena is located at 1965 S. Henderson St. For more information, visit the IU Hockey website.
