Who: You.

What: A Live From Bloomington and Indiana Memorial Union Board Project. A group of songwriters and poets who work collaboratively towards the creation of a themed, concept-album of music. The Brio Pop Society event will showcase the album created by the BPS artists and arrangers.

The BPS artists will perform their original material alongside classical musicians, who will be performing the arrangements composed by the arrangers at a final concert open to the public.

Additionally the in studio recorded album will be released on iTunes as well as a live recorded version from the final concert.

Artists will be selected based on a submission process. All artists will be financially compensated.

How: Musicians and songwriters featured on the CD will be selected through a submission/selection process. Additionally, they will collaborate with arrangers (individuals educated in music composition) to foster a working relationship between the Bloomington music scene and the Jacobs School of Music. The concept will be determined by the selected group of musicians and songwriters.

When/Where: Submissions and questions should be sent to LFB@indiana.edu by September 22 by 5pm.
